We’ll be hosting a Practical Farmers of Iowa field day on September 9th from 10am-noon. It’s free to attend but you do need to RSVP so we can get an accurate count for lunch (hint hint, our pork will be featured!).

In other news we’ve been busy busy prepping for the arrival of the piggos — as usual they’re set to arrive in the second half of June. We’re lucky to have Christina the WWOOFer here helping us — she has been an absolute delight to host. We highly recommend checking out WWOOFing as a way to travel, visit farms, and learn new skills.

Ok, that’s it from me! Off to keep chugging away on bucking up a gazillion elms for firewood.
