If you’ve been meaning to reserve your whole or half hog, here’s a little incentive for you!
We are thrilled to offer a special, customer-only half hog butchering demo on the afternoon of April 15th in Northeast Minneapolis.
From 1-4pm, our two badass butcher friends Cecka Parks (MPLS Meat Collective) and Cailee Gates (of 2020 MVP fame!!!) will demonstrate the various cuts you’ll choose from this fall on your very own whole/half hog. The demo will be about 90 minutes but we’ll have time to socialize and discuss all things pork before and after.
Our friends at Greener Pastures have offered to host us at founder Sarah Carroll’s house in Northeast Minneapolis.
We’ll provide some sips and snacks but if you’d like to show off an appetizer or homemade treat you’re famous for, please bring it to share!
Also, many of you are incredible makers and we want you to know each other. Bring an example of your wares to add to the Adult Show and Tell table if you’d like. :)
Tickets are $30-50 sliding scale. Every penny will go towards the butchers, the half hog (we have to buy one since we only have halves in the fall), sips and snacks, and to our host Greener Pastures for their space.
Josiah said you’re going to do another of these events in the southeastern part of the state--we’d love to come to that!
